This is an excellent faculty development course in palliative care,
requiring a significant committment of time up front (two weeks) and a
willingness (and scheduling ability) to serve as a leader and teaching
resource. Let me know if you have interest.

The two-week Harvard faculty development course on the practice and
teaching of
end-of-life care still has a few openings for the upcoming session:
April
27-May 4 and November 10-16, 2004 This intensive learning experience
helps
faculty gain expertise in clinical and educational aspects of
interdisciplinary
end-of-life care and in managing improvements in palllative care
education and
practice at your institution.
Through grants from the Project on Death in American, Robert Wood
Johnson
Foundation, and James Green Family Fund, the Harvard Medical School
Center for
Palliative Care continues to offer scholarships for clinicians
(primarily
physicians and nurses) who work with underserved minorities.
