IHS is implementing the BFHI under the Healthy Weight for Life umbrella initiative. All IHS hospitals with OB capacity will be expected to become Certified as a Baby Friendly Hospital through Baby Friendly USA. IHS Headquarters will need to communcate with the points of contact in each hospital, Service Unite and Area Office, and this list serve will be the tool to accomplish this. We would like the list to serve both as an announcement list and as a vehicle for moderated discussions.
