The Alaska Area has ~ 330 Officers, most of which are assigned to tribal programs under an MOA. As the MOA'd officers do not have standard ihs.gov e-mail addresses and can change e-mails more often than those at federal facilities, it can be difficult to communicate with all officers within the Area. The list-serve is intended to enhance transmission of announcments and directives to thses Alaska officers
